Ashley Jensen, C.B.D.

Hello! My name is Ashley, and I’m thrilled to be a certified birth doula! I currently live in Fridley, Minnesota with my husband Joseph, daughter Fiona, cat Lily, and hamster Knuckles. When I’m not trying to manage the zoo that is my household, I love spending my free time crafting, cooking, or playing video games. Prior to becoming a doula, I worked with children in some capacity for seven years. I started out at a daycare facility and worked there for five years. After that, I wanted to work more one-on-one with families, so I became a nanny and did that for two years. It wasn’t until my own birthing experience that I really found my calling! I did a lot of research about my birthing options to feel prepared for whatever may happen. That coupled with the tremendous support I had from my husband during my labor and delivery led me to the path I’m on now! I believe every birthing person deserves to feel supported, respected, and heard. That’s why I can’t wait to offer that same support to birthing people and their families!
