Profile Categories: Birth Doula, Breastfeeding Counselor, Childbirth Educator, and Postpartum Doula
Cassandra decided to become a doula after the birth of her daughter. Her own birth and postpartum experience were profoundly shaped by the support of the doula she and her family hired, and she hopes to offer that same level of care and guidance to others on their journey.
She enjoys working with diverse groups of people and brings a broad range of experience to her work—from retail and babysitting to volunteering as an event coordinator for her local birth and baby expo team. Cassandra’s ability to truly listen and build connections helps her create meaningful relationships with new clients.
A mother, military spouse, and member of the LGBTQ+ community, Cassandra also identifies as AuDHD. Her husband serves in the Navy, and they are currently stationed in Bremerton, Washington, though both originally come from Michigan. Their family includes a sassy four-year-old black lab–basset hound mix named Milo.
Outside of her work as a doula, Cassandra spends her time caring for and playing with her daughter, hiking, reading, and diving into a variety of creative projects.
