Online doula training lets you become a doula at your own pace. One of IDI’s most unique features is that our training is 100% online. Once you start your courses, you will have a full year to complete your training. This method allows you to work as quickly or as slowly as you need to.

When venturing into a new path, it can be a bit intimidating to do it on your own. While you’re completing your training independently, and on your own timelines, with IDI you are not alone. Your IDI instructors are just a call or email away. They’re ready to support you with questions about course work, offer advice, and be a source of encouragement.
Not only do you have access to instructors, you also have the chance to interact with fellow IDI students and doulas. Each of our trainings are broken into monthly cohorts. These cohorts each have discussion questions, a chance to interact and discuss course material.
As an IDI student, you are also invited to join our exclusive Facebook group. This community is a place to ask general doula questions, network with fellow students and certified doulas, and see all the amazing things our certified doulas are doing.

Aliza Juliette Bancoff is a well-known doula and doula trainer who has been providing doula services to families for over a decade.
