Director of Lactation Education (Part-Time Remote Position)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Director of Lactation to oversee our online lactation courses. This part-time, remote role offers flexible hours with potential for growth, ideal for an IBCLC seeking additional work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and grade student coursework in our online platform.
- Maintain currency with lactation guidelines and integrate new findings into our curriculum.
- Assist with student inquiries
- Coordinate training with hospital staff as needed.
- Occasional travel for graduation ceremonies and special events.
Required Qualifications:
- Active IBCLC certification with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Maternity RN or Nurse Practitioner experience is ideal but not required.
- Experience in maternity unit
- Experience in remote learning environments.
- Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English and sensitivity to non-native English speakers.
Compensation:
$25-35/hour, based on experience and qualifications. The role starts at 10 hours per week with potential for expansion.
