Birth Doula

Peace, my name is Erica. I am married and live with my supportive husband and kitty kat, Demi. I have 3 adult daughters and 1 grandson. I was born and raised in Georgia; however, I relocated to Connecticut in 93. I began a new life journey and moved to Asheville, NC in 2017, where I am currently living. I love nature so I enjoy outside activities from walking trails or gardening as well as dancing, reading, traveling, and bike riding. I currently work at an agency that provides services to NC residents with intellectual disability, alcohol and substance abuse. I became passionately interested in a doula’s role in childbirth approximately 12 years. I want to be a part of helping my community and make a difference in the care and support from pregnancy through postpartum. I overall support and practice healthy physical and emotional health. Both are equally important. Childbirth is natural and should be an empowering and lovely experience. I want to be a part of disrupting the stigma and educating families on how they can have a pleasant and positive experience with some support. I would be honored to be a part of such a blessed moment with families.
