I am Carmen. I currently live in Greensboro, NC, where I was born and raised. I live with my loving and supportive parents. Some fun facts about me are, I love to spend time with my family and friends, I am very family-oriented and love quality time spent with my loved ones. I also enjoy singing and dancing at my church. I am a plant mom. As of lately, I think it is safe to say that my favorite TV show is 9-1-1. The reason I want to become a doula is because I love everything about the gift of life. I have always been passionate about learning about pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. I am equally passionate about helping others. Upon my studies and passion, I am more than capable of being an excellent doula.

My instructor was always very easy to reach and very responsive to any issues I had. I loved being able to work at my own pace and skip around a bit. Videos are hard for me as I am very self-conscious so it was nice to be able to postpone them for a bit until I could really practice and feel my best. ”
