Elise Adelle Birth Doula Services

My name is Elise, I married my high-school sweetheart and together we have two precious children via c section.

I wanted to become a doula because I loved learning about pregnancy and birth as I was preparing for my eldest child’s delivery. That birth experience was scary, my baby needed to come out via c section. I ended up hiring a birth doula for my second labor in hopes for a better experience. Even though it did end in another c section, I am so grateful for my doula’s support. I want to be able to help moms enjoy their birth experience and to feel proud of themselves no matter how or where they deliver.

Before I became a doula I was a baby sitter, I cleaned airbnbs, and I coach figure skating from time to time. All of those jobs can be physically demanding, but babysitting taught me empathy, cleaning taught me speed and excellence, and coaching taught me patience. All of which can be applied to being a birth doula.

Some things that I like to do in my spare time is painting, playing my ukulele, and arial arts. I used to be a very serious figure skating competitor for 13+ years. I’m trying to get back into it since my kids are a little older.

One of my future goals is to offer my doula services for prison inmates because they should have an empowering birth with support too.
