Linda M Shattuck, Doula

My name is Linda, I’m a Christian, been married for over 40 years and I love helping families. I love being a doula because I get support women through labor and delivery, to help new families adjust to bringing home a baby for the first time or expanding their family with the addition of a new baby, providing information and hands on experience with what I’ve learned over the years as a mother and pediatric nurse. Having lived in numerous locations, I am adept in adjusting to different cultures, and family traditions, treating others with respect and grace, setting them up for success – however each may define it. I have volunteered with kids, from infants to high schoolers, since I was in college and continue to do so now. When I’m not with kids, I love to be active but also am a voracious reader, jigsaw puzzler and counted cross-stitcher.
