MJ Tucay, Postpartum Doula

Hi! I’m MJ Tucay. I’m a mother of a 9 month old girl, Allie, and she is what made me fascinated with birth and postpartum work. During my pregnancy, I went down the rabbit hole of all of the decisions and options to choose between from pregnancy to postpartum care. I continue to research during my postpartum period, and I can’t wait to help other mothers do the same.

I have many years working with infants and toddlers. I have worked as a private nanny for five years, as well as worked in a Montessori school for a couple years. Currently, I volunteer at my local church’s nursery. I love being around kids, especially infants.

I have a passion for postpartum work and making sure new mothers feel confident in their abilities within themselves. I support the unique situations and needs of each mother and work to help transition her into her new life role.

I am natural-minded, but I know health goals are different for everyone. My goal is to make sure my clients feel well-equipped to move into motherhood.

Beyond doula work, I enjoy homesteading, learning about natural living, and working to make sure my family is happy and healthy.
