Hi, I’m Nelle Cook—a full-spectrum doula, childbirth educator, and founder of Golden Bloom, a boutique doula practice rooted in premium, whole-family support.
I’ve been working in the maternal wellness space for nearly a decade. I began as a community doula, supporting women from underserved communities with limited access to continuous support. I later apprenticed with a Department of Health–funded organization, gaining experience in public health settings before working with private agencies and eventually launching my own business.
Throughout the years, I’ve immersed myself in both clinical and holistic approaches to care. I’ve completed advanced trainings like the Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) course and have also studied abroad with indigenous midwives, learning ancestral wisdom and traditional postpartum practices. This wide-ranging experience allows me to meet families where they are—offering care that is both evidence-based and heart-centered.
Today, I lead a small, trusted team of doulas who help me provide support across the full perinatal spectrum—from fertility to sleep training. Together, we fill the gaps in care with warmth, knowledge, and empowering guidance—helping families bloom with confidence.
