Renata de Castro

I am a Birth Doula, Ayurvedic Practitioner and yoga teacher with a speciality in Prenatal Yoga. I am the founder of Her Sacred Cradle, a women’s wellness business focused on guiding women to connect with their bodies’ inner intelligence in order to to realize their own innate powers, so that they may bring more consciousness to their health, pregnancy, and birth.

My mission as a birth doula is to help women have empowering birth experiences and to equip them with the tools to show up as active participants in their labour & birth. I do this work because I strongly believe women are the portals between worlds, the vessels that house generations to come, and that it is in the way women birth, journey through pregnancy and motherhood, and connect with their bodies that helps to shape and form a more conscious world.

In addition to providing pregnant women educational, physical and emotional support, I also weave in my extensive knowledge of Ayurveda, yoga, and pelvic floor work to help women holistically prepare for their big day – labour & birth!
