My name is Rose and I’m a doula who believes in healthy starts. I want to be a part of uplifting women who are sometimes overlooked and forced to be strong when they need help. Becoming a mother myself opened my eyes to a whole new world of disparities regarding pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum. I realized how much education, resources, and support we lack as a country. Discovering that Black women have the lowest breastfeeding rates really pulled my heartstrings to action. I would love to support women to give their babies and new motherhood self the best start they possibly can have. Outside of that, my hobbies include; poetry, journaling, watching movies, fine dining, hiking/outdoorsy activities, road trips/traveling, working out, and ice skating. I’m located in the Pacific Northwest in Woodland, WA.
