Sarai Lugo, Birth Doula

My name is Sarai Lugo.
Growing up I always wanted to work with children. In the past I have work in the medical field as a CNA and Medical Assistant. Later, on I continue my journey in Education. Where today, I am an Elementary teacher. Working with children and their families from all types of backgrounds, cultures, and religion. My past working experience has guided me to a new journey as a birth doula. And a tunnel vision of the needs of provide companionship within my community. I have learn to celebrate others accomplishments as well as to render a shoulder in times of lost.

My passion is to serve and provide adequate resources and support to our community. My mission as a birth doula is to build a connection with my community; to encourage and educate you with the best of my knowledge. I have served my Country as an Army Veteran. the importance of Serving my community is something I always look forward to. I have made it my life’s work. Having the sympathy and empathy for those who have no one to rely on. Being a supportive system in times of vulnerability and most importantly advocate for others is vital; by empowering the voices of our new parents to be but most importantly voicing their needs.
My Goal is Educating you about the choices you have as a birthing parent. Finally, having the desire and options to fulfill the wishes they want as a new parent is what I look forward to
